I'm a native of Wyoming, currently living in Cordova, Tennessee. I graduated from both the University of Wyoming and Arizona State University with bachelor's degrees in history and liberal arts with a concentration in sociology and gender. I'm interested in the history of every country and era, but I'm most passionate about the Civil War era in the United States. While the courses I have taken focused on society, culture, and politics, learning how to write and research topics has played a big part in my educational success. I firmly believe that writing is communication, and communication is vital in today's society. I love all forms of writing, whether creative or technical. I'm comfortable tutoring a wide range of subjects: American and world history, constitutional history, government, politics, and human geography, reading, writing, literature, algebra, elementary math, and middle school math.In my spare time, I like to cook, read, walk my dogs, play video games, and go to sporting events. In nice weather, I love to golf. My family and my husband mean a lot to me, and I enjoy spending time with them whenever possible.
