By the time I was fifteen years old, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. My love for teaching stemmed from my work in schools in Paarl, South Africa. I am the son of a United States Marine and I have lived in four different states prior to moving here to Tennessee. I was born in Virginia, grew up in California, and have lived in Hawaii. I believe my extensive travels and exposure to many cultures have shaped me into the great tutor I am today. I have my Bachelor of Science, Master of Education and Life Sciences Teaching Credential, all of which I earned from UCLA. My most recent achievement is earning my National Board Certification for life sciences, the highest level of certification to achieve in the U.S. After I graduated, I taught for seven years in Los Angeles. Then, I took my family and moved to Memphis to teach at GRAD Academy of Memphis as the Biology Facilitator. As a teacher, I strive to empower my pupils by giving them meaningful relationships. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences and education with students and helping them reach their goals.
