For 20 years, I have taught Math in the public school system. I have witnessed many that I tutored advance in Math during this time period. I have also been awarded a level 5 status on my TVAAS scores. I have held this distinction for the last four year. I think my students benefit tremendously because I create a close relationship with them. I have a lot of experience and knowledge to share. For the 2014-2015 school year, I was nominated for "Teacher of the Year." I care about students, and my greatest wish is for them to succeed academically.Every student has the ability to learn and improve, regardless of where they were born, their level of income, gender, or any personal challenges that might create a learning barrier. I also adjust my tutoring to address how each student can best learn their material. I try to instill confidence and the ability to think critically for each of them. These skills are needed to succeed in college, and in every endeavor. What students learn can be utilized for a lifetime. Math can be challenging.
